John Colacarro began his writing journey just like countless other writers have; when they have nobody new to hear what they have to say. Highly influenced by the writings of the legendary American thinkers, along with his ability to deeply apply what makes him feel the most human onto a page, John not only aims to tell stories, but paint pictures in the reader’s minds that they have felt familiar, even if they haven’t read it yet. He writes works highlighting the queer experience, the complexity of human relationships, and the act of finding the bigger story in the tiniest of details.
